Seeking Advice
To get medical advice, please contact NHS Direct on 0845 4647. They have experienced staff on duty 24 hours a day. There are also additional resources available on the Internet. The BBC website (www.bbc.co.uk) provides comprehensive information on various health issues. For non-medical queries please speak to the Practice staff who will do their best to accommodate your questions
Accident and Emergency
In the event of an accident/emergency, please go to A&E. The nearest A&E department is at St Helier Hospital. Please note there is NOT an A&E department at Sutton Hospital
Walk - In - Centre
The nearest walk-in clinic is in St. George’s Hospital, Tooting. The staff will assist you promptly and efficiently. You can contact the service on 020 8700 0505. When the surgery is closed we advise you to use the walk-in Clinic. This clinic is open from 800 to 22:00 daily. This clinic offers trained doctors.
NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call
NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
